Title: replacemt battery for universal slot??

what is a correct replacement battery for a universal slot? its the model before the ultra. havdent pulled it, but i believe its a varta?  can it be  replaced with a lithium battery from an IGT s plus, 3.6 volt? i know gottlieb pinballs used varta batteries that leaked a lot, cant recall the voltage of them.

Board recharges the battery, so no lithium unless you add a diode. Requires NiCd 3.6v battery.
