A few issues with Sigma SG150B
« on: May 27, 2024, 08:38:40 PM »
Hello friends
3 primary issues on this machine I acquired.

1. Jumper Err: There aren’t any jumpers other than the ones on the bottom of the board and the battery, none of the top ones appear to have had jumpers. I tried booting it with and without a battery, it made no difference. Reset key does nothing, red button does nothing.

2. Spin handle is stuck sticking straight forward

3. Cash box appears to be the wrong one, slots on side do not align with the locking grabbers so one side is always sticking out.

Are any of these issues related? Will the machine start without a cash box?

Thanks for any suggestions. A few pictures are attached.

Chris

Wow you're machine is a 150 b as well why is your CPU board way different from my 150 b CPU board .one would think that they would be both the same boards

The only thing I know is that it will not play if the cashbox is missing.
There's a sensor attached somewhere on the enclosure surrounding the cashbox compartment.
I'd imagine it's easily bypassed by jumping the two wires together?  :scratch-head_3:
I cannot be sure as I haven't tried it on my Tunnel Wheel machine.

Spin handle mech has a stuck pawl that won't release the handle back.
Possible broken pawl spring or hung up with gunk?

I don't know anything about jumper errors.
Never had that issue.

I know there is a switch that the side door is engaged when you lock it and I believe there is something like A sensor on the spring like things on the ends in that cubby the cash box goes in it pushes those things in . Can't you go into your soft meters settings and turn off the cash box and set the machine to pay from the hopper to credits meter. And your switch 1 number 10 or is it 7 I have to look but you can disable it . You shouldn't have to use the bill validator if you c
Got a coin comparator . I believe but it seems your machine is way different . I am sure you tried all what I suggested so just trying to maybe throw some ideas out there
