Hi All,
I am making progress with my (OZ) IGT video slot machine. I managed to get all the coin comparison and optics working again. And managed to get to play a few spins. However all progress is 1 step forward 2 steps back.
I only managed to get a few spins as it seems that the play credit buttons are having some issues. there are 5 of them Play 1 credit per line up to play 5 credits per line.
In the past when looking at the input test screen the "play 3 credit" button got registered as the jackpot reset...???
when I got all the optics working only the "Play 1" credit button got recognised and that's how I managed a few spin. But not none of the buttons are recognised.
Now before pulling this all apart and checking all wires. Does anyone know whether the buttons give a Hi/Lo signal straight to the game board? Or is there a analogue/digital converter or serializer involved?
Additionally when booting the machine up it normally starts in reserved mode. And I have no idea what the normal procedure would be to unreserve each time I managed I have no idea what action actually did it. (If it is pushing the reserve button again I may have an issue there too)
