Title: WBA VALIDATOR

I have 20+ WBA Validators. How do I know if these are for Bally, S+, S2000, etc. The heads have been moved around to different transports and I don’t know what goes with what. Is there a way to figure this out?

On the underside of the transport, if they have an EPROM, it may have the info for the ID.  Such as IGT = 023 or 024 and Bally/WMS = 003. If they are flashed I'm not sure how to determine the protocol.

Thank You for the info, If they are WBA 11 or 12 that don’t have a flash chip and don’t work in the machine, should I just dispose of them?

Another thing that is strange, is I bench test them, and they function fine.

I wouldn't dispose of any of them . They all can be updated and used .

I’m New to this site. Is there anyone that can look at these and find out how these are programmed and for which machine ? That way I can use, or help someone else out that needs one.
