Title: Yellow entry bezel WBA missing wire to plug into two pin jack.
Post by: Wayout440 on April 23, 2023, 10:22:07 AM
The yellow entry bezel that attaches to the front of my JCM WBA has a small board with status LEDs.  It has a two prong plug socket.  I have no wire to plug into that.  I'm sure it must plug in some on the bill validator.  Anyone have info on this?  Thanks, Wayout

No.  Only two pin to bezel. Not four, and I don't need extra junk.  Just the cable
If someone tells me where it goes and pinout, I can make one.

The link I gave you had cables with two-pins.
Why don't you contact the seller and ask they will sell one of them?

I found the info I needed in a manual.  I think the connector on the LED board in the bezel is a standard Micro PH 2-pin, will just have to diode check for polarity.

Does anyone actually have this plugged in and can share info/pics?

With the LED bezel wired to pins 1&2 of CN3, the two green LEDs light up solid during power up and initial cycling.  They turn of and blink once at the end of cycling and remain off.  The valudator accepts bills but nothing happens with the LEDs  they just remain off.  I thought the purpose of the LED indicator lamps were to be illuminated when the machine is ready to accept a bill.

I tried tapping off pins 1&2 of CN2, no dice.  Frustrated that there is nobody out there that can help with information as to hooking this up.  The bezel appears to be a mass produced product for JCM WBA validators, as it is molded to slide on to the front of the transport.  Just can't figure out what the LED indicators are supposed to connect to.

Some bill entries connected to wires from the rear connector harness. I'll take a look tomorrow to see.

Thanks,
Wayne

I figured out how and where to wire with the RS232 Board occupying CN2 connector.  This is my workaround.
