Title: WMS 5 reel stepper how and what

Hi all,
i have a wms bluebird 5 reel stepper cabinet can anyone explain to me what clear and setup key needed for this machine, and how to do it so i can activate the printer, also do these machines always take 10 minutes to start up? the reels jump just a bit while it's going through the startup mode and after about 10 minutes it fires up and runs awesome.

Clear depends on your bios version.  You can view the setup in you tube, the setup is the same for steppers and video, just the monitors are a lot smaller for your machine, but the menus are the same.  Here's Bettorslots' video on the setup procedure with printer.

And yes, they alway take that long to boot up, I have some games that take more than 20 minutes to start up.

hey all, dumb question: i have a bb stepper do you have to ram clear and re setup to enable your printer?

Yes, but you also need a TITO board if you want your machine to take the tickets back to issue credits, otherwise, the printed tickets are not usable for anything other than eye candy.

yes i do know that, i plan on a bettor, anyway my problem is when i put the clear key in it gets to a certain point and just sits, the last thing it was trying to do is mount the root, it says kernel panic;unable to mount the root
