UV1700 Monitor Swap

I have a UV1700 with a bad monitor.  I assumed it was outputting VGA and I was able to get the boot process to show up on the LCD panel, but as soon as the came loads, I get an invalid resolution error on the monitor.   So either it's using a resolution that my monitor can not support or it's CGA possibly.  Does anyone know what the video output resolution is or is this CGA?
