MAME for Game King 4.3

Is there information on how to interact with Game King software on MAME? It seems the PE+ commands don’t work. Thanks in advance.

I don't think the Game King/i960 platform is actually playable yet (the lack of Game King and I-Game dumps is a bit worrying too, given their age). Looks like MAME's Game King inputs are still hooked up in the DIP switch section rather than mapped to keyboard keys, which is usually an indication that the emulation is very preliminary. I couldn't get it to do anything useful whatsoever (although I have only tried the ms3 set as I don't have anything else to test right now).

MAME seriously needs some volunteers who know the first thing about the insides of slot machines, but virtually no-one is "alive" in the slot emulation scene aside from Jim Stolis (the PE+ guy) and a few UK/European devs who tend to work on other types of gambling games (UK fruit machines, European video poker, Cherry Master style 8-liners, mahjong/hanafuda etc.)

Wow... Granted I've been kinda out of the loop and off NLG (GLAD to be back!) and distantly following GK emulation, pretty sad to see MAME dropped the ball here. The OG GK stuff is so old I figured SOMETHING woulda been doe in the past few years I wasn't following closely. It's pretty old software at this point (4.X anyway) so I figured the date/time passing woulda been enough to get this stuff in MAME and have it archived like the program is set out to do. Def not the project I remember it being in my late teens and 20s. Hope Game King makes it in fully for preservation as the years pass. I remember Stolistic and the hype around here when he got the PE+ stuff in. Good to be back on here regardless and at least there's a preliminary driver in for MAME just hoped (and kinda expected tbh) progress while I was MIA.
