Title: coin goes right to hopper

1995 igt jackpot jungle
bill validater works test button ads credits and reels spin did a ram clear and denomination set coin and bill

the coin goes right into hopper but but doesnt ad an credit bills ad credits and slot works fine cleaned optics and even switched out coin comparitor with known working unit still nothing

any thoughts any help would be appreciated

So...what's wrong with your machine Freddie?  :scratch-head_3:

Check the door optics.
The one on the door is an emitter, the other one on the cabinet is the reciever.
They HAVE to "see" each other for your machine to accept coins.
Make sure they are aligned when your door latch is completely all the way down.

Igt M slots did not have bill validators.  Moving to the S+ Forum.

sounds as if the coin optics are at fault, remove surface mount transistor Q-2 or Q-4 off the optic board, this should solve your problem.
