I have a DD deluxe with a SC6602 MEI bill exchange. It has recently stopped working and showing all three lights (red,green, yellow). I have tried everything but due to the fact I'm cheap and someone who likes to learn, I'm asking for help to troubleshoot it. I also plan on upgrading this machine to a DD haywire but need to fix the bill exchanger first. Any help is greatly appreciated! My wife and I are RN's and during this covid crisis and have found enjoyment playing this machine and now I can't even load credits due to non-functional bill exchanger. Understand I'm a technical person and can fix almost anything in the house but this being my first slot machine I relying on you guys experience before I go breaking things. Again, thanks to anyone who has suggestions or helpful ideas!

Could be the head, interface card or even the stacker. It's difficult to diagnose without have spare parts to try. You can go to 4.3 in the menu by opening the door & pressing the test button to be sure it shows installed. It likely is if it was previously working. I assumed you might be in Arkansas (Razorback5) like me but your profile show McKinney so I guess that is Texas.

Yes, I'm a Arkansas fan but live in North Texas along with 1000's of UA grads and Arkansas fans in general. The biggest Razorback fan club is located in Dallas. Anywho, I just ordered a new/refurb unit from Spin, Inc. Got everything for 55.00 not including shipping. Not a bad deal. Thanks for the reply and I'm sure I'll have question later on when I convert it to a DD Haywire. Glad I found this forum as it has a lot of useful info. Go Hogs and Woo Pig Sooie!
