Title: BB Game Question
Post by: idylewild1 on August 27, 2014, 04:08:50 AM
Have a customer looking for the original WMS monopoly game played in a casino about 10 years ago. This game had the game board where Mr. Monopoly moved the number of spaces shown on the dice roll. Any info I.E.  game software, operating system, platform, videos etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We had this game come in and out of our shop like 5 years ago. I believe it was a wms 550.

I think you are talking about Monopoly Jackpot Station. 5Reel Transmissive, BB1?

There were several monopoly with dice games in the 550, but the one that just had the topbox with the gameboard that you would go around based on a dice roll was call Once Around.  A lot of us tried to get a complete game, but for some reason everybody who got a hold of the special topbox, was missing the eprom from it, the famous XU10 eprom.  I don't know if anybody got one of those working.  I know there were several people who got a hold of the topbox, but could never get it going.  Chairman of the board, I'm not sure it had the physical dice that spun around.  I have that gameset for my 550, and the dice are rolled into the top box graphics if I remember correctly.

GUILTY!  I have a few different top boxes, but that's it. I would LOVE to get my hands on a complete game.
The only games I know of with physical dice that spin are Roll & Win (3RM), Once Around & Once Around Deluxe. Chairman of the Board did not have dice.
If anyone has any leads to a complete - or near complete Monopoly game, please let me know ASAP!
Thanks

This is the only thread I could find with anyone talking about Chairman of the Board.  I agree that it was a model 550.  Has anyone seen one of these machines put together?  I am looking to purchase an entire machine or parts of possible.  One post said he had one in his shop 5 years ago so 2009 or so.  Maybe that customer is ready to sell?  Any information or next steps would be greatly appreciated.  You guys are my second step per a recommendation from my local dealer.
