BB3 lower screen touch function failed. Removed screen and sent to Vendor for repairs. Screen was repaired and tested on a BB2. Touch screen was functioning and returned to me. Installed screen and powered up. Start up showed "touch auto detect probing for Elo hardware timed out" "touch auto detect probing for Microtouch serial hardware timed out" "Error communicating with touch screen, please check cabling"
I noticed on back of screen the short cable between boards, the male cable end has a 5 pin plug and the receptacle on the circuit board wired to the screen has a 7 pin receptacle. I tried plug in all positions and still received the same error. Is this a standard receptacle plug configuration for the BB3 (5 pin plug to 7 position receptacle) or did the repair facility possibly leave the BB2 cable on my machine when testing it. Been reaching out to the Vendor but no response yet from repair facility.
