Title: Removing pointer???

Working on a Bally 6000 wheel. Does anyone know how to remove the pointer.

I think the center cap just pops off with a small flat blade screw driver and then you will see the screw.

Thanks. That was my first thought but no cap to come off. @nd I thought should be able to pry from shaft, too tight, will not budge.
