I had an S+ in for repairs last week, and this machine had a weird shaped cabinet.. I was very flimsy too.. It was just a sheet metal cabinet.. The MPU was up inside the top box, because there was no room behind the hopper.. I'm guessing it's some sort of a space saving cabinet design.. Oh yea and I had to spend over an hour cleaning out the tokens inside before I could even start the repairs.. I love it when they move machines with coins inside...

Looks like someone either made their own, or used a different machine's cabinet and shoved S+ guts into it. Especially if it's flimsy, that's not an IGT S+ cabinet.

It wasn't something home made. It was an IGT machine, even had the badges on the side. There was no hack job on the wiring. Just different.. :Scratch-Head: The MPU and mother board were located in the top box behind the 16" feature glass. I thought I saw one once or at least a picture of one. The way it's designed that when you would put two back to back, you could save 6-8" of space.. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this design or know where it was used? Maybe it was some sort of proto type that IGT was thinking of building?

I remember from a while ago, and found a picture on the old site, of some back-to-back IGT Fortune II video poker machines. That's the only thing remotely like it that I've ever seen.
