I recently bought a 1995 igt s plus slot machine. It first had a 612 error, battery, I replaced that and got a 61 and 61-1 error. That took some time, but got that fixed.
I noticed that the coin comparator had missing parts and ordered a new one. I read some forums on NLG and saw I could push the tiny button for a credit. It worked and reels spun! I was so excited! So the second time that I tried I won and quarters came out. It looks like it got stuck and I got a 3300 error. I turned off the machine and tried the jackpot key. And now nothing happens when I turn on the machine. I have 2 questions: 1- how do I get it back up and working? 2- what do I need to do with the coin comparator? I have put in a quarter but it goes straight back out. Do I need to program it?
Thanks.

Is there a sample quarter in the comparitor?

3300 is hopper empty. It needs to finish paying out then it should return to normal. If the hopper has coins/tokens, then it is probably jammed. Look for a coin under the knife.

Coin competitor has a coin. Picture attached.
I pulled the hopper and saw 2 stuck coins. I got them out and that’s what started the machine doing nothing when I turned it on. Would the clear chip fix that too?
-
So did the 3300 clear or are there still unpaid credits? A clear chip would get rid of it temporarily but if there's a problem it will return next time you cash out. You would also have to set the denom & enable the BV after a clear. Don't do that unless absolutely necessary.

I checked the hopper and I think it is cleaned out. I put the clear chip in and nothing happened. I turned on and only the lights turned on.

First problem I see, you have the wrong CC-16, you have a 13vdc s-2000 coin comp (green wires) you need a 24vac cc-16 coin comparitor (grey wires).
probably need a new knife on the hopper, or something is not positioned correctly, or the knife is not setting flush up against the pinwheel. need pictures of that area. note: when you take a picture with your cell phone it will automatically turn it side ways, flip the picture before you post it.
I have the right cc-16 and knives if you need them.

Good catch Jim on the CC. I didn't even notice that in the small sideways picture.

Here is the hopper. Not sure of the blade.
I have tried the clear chip but when I put it in before and hold down the reset key didn’t do anything.
Can you send me the link for the parts?

I took the hopper partially apart

That is a large coin hopper setup. Either $1 or larger. You will have to get a small coin 25 cent pinwheel and 25 cent shelf wheel
-
Good to know!!! I have a bunch of quarters to trade in tomorrow.
Any ideas why when I turn it on I get no responses on the board?

Your "link" for parts is Jim - his info is on reply #6.

I have great news. I have it working again. Cleaned out all contacts. Now I don’t have the coin or bill validator working. What’s cheaper to get it all up?
Also get a 3300 error when pay out happens? I see the 1/2 dollars trying to get out and get stuck. You said I need a new blade?
