Title: 3.0m unable to find mac address error

Trying to get a 3.0m computer up and running and keep getting this error. Anyone run across this or know what it is? I have done complete wipe and reloaded with tested game and os software but still same error. Thanks in advance

Sounds like it's looking for a server or a machine ID#.

Found this:

"The Machine MAC Address displayed at the bottom of the screen is the unique machine ID number that identifies the machine to the server application."

Thanks for the reply mark any idea what componet supplies that information? I have just tried swapping the hard drive with another tested one and same error.

Do you have sas set to standard or (system for tito)?  If it is set to enhanced it may give that error.

It could be the game needs to be hooked to a server.

This error is after i wipe and install my os i have not been able to get in the menu to do any of the initial settings after full wipe

Damn.  Sure sounds like something software, not hardware to me.  I don't have a clue whats going on.

NIC is network interface card as far as I know.

Wierd but i just swapped the stick of ram and seems to have solved it. I learn somthing new everyday about these things. Thanks again for the responses mark
