I have a new (to me) S2000 that is behaving differently than my other 5 S2000s.
The VFD display that normally shows Cash, Credit, the latest win amount, etc doesn't show that. It will just say "Play 2 Credits" then when the reels are spinning it goes blank. After a win it just says "Play 2 Credits" again, where my other games all say "Win xxxx" or whatever.
The only difference is that it's a single denom machine, and my others are multi-denom, but I think the other S2000's I've seen always at least show the current amount of cash and stuff on the display.
Is there a setting for that somewhere?

You have to change the Version prom to a multi-line chip similar to VS011GX1.
I don't know if your Barcrest game is able to do that or not.
We would need to see what SB and SG chips are installed in your machine in order to help you further.

Most of my games do have that chip. This one has VS009SX0
