I have a bally 1091 Dollar machine in working order, I have 35 casino coins from various casinos and they work fine. I bought some new stainless tokens, but they fall straight through.
The coin comparitor is a Thirdwave TW101. It has 2 pots for adjustment and does not use a reference coin. I cannot find any information on this comparitor.
Looking for info on how to adjust it. The new coins are lighter, at 19g vs the original tokens at 22g. They are also thinner by about 10%, a stack of 10 is equal to about 9 of the old casino ones. I've adjusted both pots independantly by about 1.5-2 turns in both directions. By doing so, the old coins get rejected at about a 1/2 turn, the new ones are never accepted.
