Title: which 1270 enhanced clear chips

just a quick question

i have a friend who bought a s2000 from someone.  he is sending clear and key chips with the other program chips...just making sure that ivc97 and key 17 are what is needed for that board.

i do not use those 2 at all...i use 224 and 45...they have always worked right for me, but hey..im open to changes

You need 224 and 45 for 1270 (or 50x).  97 and 17 for 50x only

This information is out dated. Key and clear chip are not dependent on hardware they are dependent on the sg chips. 97 and 17 will only work for sg363 and before this includes when they are used on a 1270. 224 and 45 are backwards compatible and will work on most software sets except some bonus games and rboard 1270 games. Rboard 1270 games required an rbk chip its a clear and key chip in one you have to select the options you want from the menu.
