Sorry I just saw this right now.  I am not sure about wide or not.  I never got a cabinet in my hands.

Are the Reel Strips wider than normal strips?
If they are you will need the original reels and also the reel shelf

They do not appear to be wider than normal.  Look to be same size as say IGT reel strips
