Hi folks:

I’m new here, but I’ve already had the distinct pleasure of communicating with – and through – several members. I found this site while surfing the WWW for slot forums. I have a S2000 (Triple Double Diamonds) that was not working and just sucking money out of my pockets.  I discovered there are a lot of slot ‘experts’ out there who know less about slots than I know about quantum physics (which is nothing). However, they are all pretty adept at siphoning the greenbacks from a wallet.
Anyway, after I joined NLG, I sent a PM to a random member, outlining my problem and asking for help. The response was phenomenal. The short story is this: I started out with a machine that had no VFD display and wouldn’t work (no actions at all); I had no idea what was wrong, ‘cause I couldn’t see the VFD msgs.     
Shortly after sending the PM, I got a response from CVS/Roslyn. There simply isn’t enough time, or sufficient words, to explain all she did to help. Essentially, through numerous email exchanges, she ‘talked’ me through several procedures, and reached out to other members for advice, which ultimately resulted in returning the machine to working order, and determining that the BV is bad. Trust me when I say this is a really condensed version of events.  BTW: I’m looking for a BV, if anyone has one for sale.
I hope I don’t miss anyone, but I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the other members that helped; ‘Cowboy’, ‘Proten’ and ‘Buzz’. BTW: Buzz, you provided the final piece of the puzzle (i.e. test procedure), which allowed me to verify the BV is bad. To each of you –THANK YOU!!!!
To Roslyn (and her husband who assisted too), I can’t possibly express my gratitude for your patience, encouragement and experience. If you guys ever get to my side of the country, there are steaks and beers waiting for you here.

Just glad to hear we could help! It is tougher when you only have 1 machine, as you don't have a 2nd machine to swap parts with to see if they are good. I highly suggest you go buy a 2nd machine, just in case you need it in the future!  :24:
