Post by: BrianM on April 22, 2017, 12:52:30 PM
Any thoughts on this error.  Do I need a new OS. Card?

What game and OS are you trying to load?

Version numbers would be helpful.

Did you RAM CLEAR and try again? Looks like something with NVRAM.

If you did maybe your batteries on the backplane are dead? Replace them.

There are no batteries on backplane of bb1's (you are getting confused with alpha). But I suspect the battery on the mpu is probably bad and didn't survive the reboot after the clear.

Thank you Yoeddy and coolwavepic.   Up and running.  Replaced the 3 batteries, pulled the top box card and then cleared it three times to be safe.
Thanks again for the help

If you replaced the batteries, you need to perform a clear and setup the game again.  You will need a clear CF card to do so.  Clearing the games does not get rid of the door errors.  If as in your previous other postings, you have made sure the mpu is seated all the way in, and the error did not clear, then you most likely have a backplane issue since you already shorted the drop door switch.
