Title: Set chips
Post by: boland1776 on January 07, 2017, 08:23:23 AM
I see a lot of set chips (for setting BV, etc) out there. The most common seems to be set15.
What do all the others do, is there a document that explains the differences?

As it was explained to me, The game chips (especially the newer ones) sometimes have other functions besides just the B/V. A 15 works great for the validator but for instance an SP1137 which allows you to set a token value or other modes, needs a special set chip. Tournament play, progressives etc. things like that set up differently than just a bill validator. You can check the home page and see if there is a more detailed description.
