I have a IGT S + slot machine and the issue I am having is when I start to play the machine I have to manually turn on the cash out button and get it to lite up to get the machine to load up credits after a win. Once I do this I can cash out the winning credits and also bet one credit at a time. I just know it's very strange to have to manually press the cash out button first to get it to lite up and have the slot machine function correctly. I seen other posts where others mention that their machine does this also but I think what they are trying to say is that it is already lit up automatically when the first start to play. I would be greatly appreciative for all opinions and help with this issue. Press the cash/credit button. I believe if it is lit up the wins go to credit meter. IE cash or credit. At least my machine button says that. Yours may say cashout but if it did it before and you haven't cleared or changed any settings that should get you back in business.

Thanks for your response. I can get it to add credits but only if I press the cash out button and get it to lite up in advance. On my other IGT + that's not the case, that cash out button is not lit up and only lites up after I press it to cash out my tokens. Very strange indeed. :thank_you:

I think it has to do with the chips and game as to how the button functions. Others know about that. Looks like it is working.
The PSR section may help. These documents describe the Program Summary Report with all the information.

Mine is the same way, I think its normal. On mine with no credits the cash out button shuts off at 30 seconds. If I dont press the cash out button before I insert a bill the credits payout in the hopper. As will winnings when inserting coins and getting a win.

I still can't figure out what is creating this issue.
I read what everyone has said could be the problem and looked into it but can't fix it. Should I use my clear chip to see if that will maybe fix it? Tha again to everyone.

Your machine is working like it is supposed to. Your other machine has the cash/credit button wired wrong. Compare the two and you will see the difference. Two wires are backwards.
