First of all I couldnt seem to find the answer in this forum or newlifegames.net.....
I recently got a TON of IGT stuff..... I got a slant top cabinet with a 10 time pay in it, but it was MISSING 2 of the reel strips! I tried swapping it with another kit from a round top, but cant get the reels to line up...yes I put them in the notch the right way.
Today at work I was thinking about it....in a upright the payline is in the FRONT of the reel... on a slant top its near the TOP of the reel! Is there a setting in the setup to let me move that, or do I NEED specific reel roms for a slant top??
thanks for any help!!

Game chips are same.

so then there IS a way to switch where the payline is on the reel in setup? Am I correct? Do I need set chip or this will be in the options. Im on the right track thinking, right? On roundtops & other uprights the payline is in the FRONT of the reel... not on a slant top...RIGHT?

Reels are different from uprite to slant/sit-down games.

:talktothehand: Wait, wait, wait.....the REELS (as in REEL BASKETS) are different, NOT the reel STRIPS. Do you have them in the correct order? They may be all 3 the same, I didn't look. Other than the reel baskets themselves, there is no difference. The strips are not cabinet specific.

Not necc. I said the reels were diff. . I said nothing about reel strips. The reels and drums had to be diff. for indexing on slant tops. I have no idea what you have, what you have done or what you are mixing up. For all I know you are attempting to place s-2k stips on s or s+ equipment. I will very gladly let the experts take this now at their leisure. Hope was some help for you.

Roz, I posted and you were posting at same time. I am kinda like buzz -Once I type it -it gets posted. I will now let all the experts on these old si-redd games take over-- :arrowthruhead: .

Same here...once my brain engages...I'm posting it! Yah, the Si Redd experts...careful what you wish for, we got more Si Redd trivia questions! :rotfl:
MrCrazy - You may need to give us some more info or maybe pics. Are you certain you have the correct strips? I think the reel baskets themselves were marked with either an 'S' or a 'U', if I'm not mistaken its on the side/hub.

Roz, mrcrazy went to bed--- :zzzz: . You do any more of that Si Redd sheet I will have to :Slap: :crylaughing: . The info posted in this thread SHOULD cure this members problems and questions. --- :cool_thumb_up: .

Thanks,

My last post on this since roz is not around on these older games-etc. As roz posted Look at the reels, There will be engravings on them. Depending on how old you are you may need a good light and magnifing glass to pin point them- No pun intended as I am almost as blind as Mr. Magoo and that is no joke.

The upright reels say UP on the backside near the tabs that pass through the reel optics
Also the part number for the reel baskets are
Left side 660 015 00 B
Right side 660 014 00 B
And I don't even have a S+ anymore and I am currently using those baskets in a machine
Can anyone tell me what machine it would be?
-
Thanks!! Ill try to locate a few slant top ones then & give you an update!!
thanks for all the info guys!

You're using the S+ reel baskets with S2000 reel motors in an S2000 machine.
