So I picked up my Alpha S9000 2x5x10 Pay $1/3 Credit w/Progressive machine today. It's really just like the one at my local.... I can't win crap on it! But the only thing I've noticed that is different is the amount that gets added to the progressive total per $1 spent. The machine I have seems to be adding to the progressive total 5x the amount as my local machine does. Is there a way to change this and just as important it there a quick how to that will walk me though the change. Thanks for any help you can be!

You will need to do a clear and re-set the progressive contribution %
There is no specific rule on what you have to set it at.
Coolwavepics has a YouTube video on progressive set up's.

I should mention that there's a specific formula depending on game as to what your progressive amount is setup, no specific requirement for contribution percentage, but the starting and resetting amounts have to follow a specific formula. There's a document that details this somewhere on the site.

Yes thanks everyone! I only want to change the contribution amount... meaning add to it with a lessor amount per $1 played. It says to get into the operation menu press the "test" button on the logic board... I've search google and every PDF I have but nothing is "showing" where this is. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Unfortunately you cannot just change the contribution % amount without going through the whole procedure
of clearing the memory and setting up as if you were changing the game.You can get in to your setting as a read
only by pressing the small white button on the MPU which is behind the main door below the reels.
You may want to take pictures of the settings so you can make them the same after you do the clear.
