Title: set chip procedure MK7

Noob to the Aristocrat MK7.
Needing to know how to get into the set chip options.
I have a set chip and when I install it to comes up with GRUB loading stage2...

I'm not sure of the procedure to get into the options.
Here is what i have done so far.
turned off machine and removed the game card and simm.
installed the set chip card.
left all doors open.
powered up the machine. CPU display rotates through codes and stops at C0 (tried to boot with interrupt 19)
Screen says GRUB loading stage2
and then it just sits.

Do i need to do something else? close specific doors? Bad set chip? although i tried two different ones with the same result.
Any help would be great  thanks

I think i figured it out. I needed to leave in the Simm card.

I'm sure i'll be asking more questions though.
