I need to replace a few batteries and remember reading something awhile back that there was a setup I could change to so I do not have to mess with soldering a battery again down the road. Does anyone have the info on the battery holder that I would solder in place of the current battery?
I will be doing this on 2 standard boards and 2 super boards, on with the wing board.
Thanks

Mouser electronics, I use these all the time, for the 1/2 AA battery, their part number, 12BH1/2AA-2P-GR. thru hole pins, just shape and cut to size , then tin the lead and solder to the board contacts/ never have to solder again.

I've had good luck with these. They have solder tabs like the original battery. They're longer than a 1/2AA battery so it can get a little tight soldering it in place, but they work well.
