Title: IGT M+ Reel 2 Error- No Spin

I have been working on a IGT M+ machine with a reel 2- No Spin error. I have swapped the reel kickers and the issue stays with position 2. While running the input test, the reel optic is not responding. This is a 3-reel machine,  The machine was previously playable and worked well.


Any thoughts on this would be great.

If a wire or the front door or  anything is touching that 2nd reel it give an error code.  A year ago I put in a strong battery in the small plug in board replacing a battery that did not have a high voltage.  It worked !  No idea why and left it as a mystery . Then, a week ago it happened again.  Same solution worked !  If anyone knows why lightning  struck twice I would like to know.  Worth a shot.  Gordy
