For the first time, I just replaced the batteries on the CPU and backplane of my Alpha 2 v22/22. I then did a ram clear. What are the next steps ? I expected to see the config menu so I can re-setup the game. When I boot up I get "NVRAM driver mount failure" and I have no idea what to do. Do I need to reinstall the game ?
Update:
I tried clearing several more times and even reinstalled the game but I can't get past NVRAM Driver Mount Failure.

means the nvram is not holding up. Are you sure the new batteries are good and they are inserted properly (should have been 2 of them). Also make sure the one on the backplane was not inserted backwards.

I'm back up and running !!! I'm not sure what the problem was. Just a poor battery connection I guess. I pulled out all three batteries and checked the voltage. They were all 3.2 volts. I saw no visible problems. Polarity of the backplane battery was correct. I cleaned the CPU battery holders with some contact cleaner & Q-tip then put all the batteries back in, did a clear then booted up and configured the game. Runs great now.
Thanks Rick !!!
