How do I open a Bally bar top game i think it is a 5000plus

I have recently obtained a Bally bar top game,t there is a shipping lock where i believe the main lock goes.  Well i turn the lock in both directions an cannot get this main door open
Is there anybody that can help me in this situation?  I believe that there is a simple solution to this simple problem, but I think my brain is wound to tightly around this thing, so it is time to take a step back and let someone give it a go. Any takers???

On most bar units you have to press down firmly on the door as you turn the key.
