okay...you can remove the coin hopper for now.
The machine doesn't need it to do some tests to get the machine working again.
We'll get the coin hopper back in and working later.
I hope you didn't try in install or remove the MPU with the power switch ON?
That's NOT good for the MPU circuit board.
Anyway, open the door, turn OFF the power switch, pull out the hopper, and place aside.
Pull up on the MPU 's black knob.
Kinda off brace your arm against your leg and wiggle the knob left to right as you're pulling up.
You don't want to pull up and smash your hands up on anything.
Now once you have it out, turn it upside down and look at the male pins on the bottom in the long connector housings.
There's a LOT of them.
Try to see, with good lighting, if any got bent over in there.
If so, use a pair of tweezers to try to bend the pin back straight.
You'll see on the floor motherboard that there's a lot of holes where those male pins go into.
Those pins HAVE to be straight.
Once you check them out, let use know if any are bent or not.
If not, then we have to check the software chips....GAME and REEL proms.
