Title: CEI Royal Flush reset
Post by: bally bob on February 18, 2018, 04:17:03 PM
After working through some new recent issues with my CEI Casino Poker, which has a 906 III Turbo + gameboard, I settled back and have been playing it for the past few weeks. The other day I finally hit a Royal Flush. My delight quickly faded when I couldn’t reset the machine. The screen shows the royal flush and says attendant will pay 6,000 coins, call attendant. I opened the machine and pressed the hand pay button. Then a new screen comes up and says enter user ID, a 4 digit code. Looked through all the notes I have and came up with 4 different codes. 1492, 1799, 1086 and 5615 tried them all and used both locks on the side of machine. Doesn’t reset, not sure if I’m using the correct user ID. Maybe missing a step? Would like to know the proper procedure. I’ve been waiting a long time to hit a Royal Flush, damn the luck. I imagine or hoping this is a dumb question and simply answered. Thanks in advance.

There was a post similar to this a while back. I don't remember if they had to pull the ram chip to clear the machine or if it was the battery.

Yah, I saw the post about pulling the ram chip and shorting it's pins. Seemed a little extreme thought there must be an easier way. The user ID 4648 worked. Opened the door, pressed "hand pay" button. entered user ID 4648, that did it. The hand pay counter is still counting up, 6,000 coins so it will take a while. Thanks so much for the help.

Amechanic, still haven't got around to putting the lock bar on the other CEI machine I have. Will let you know when I do, have so many other projects going.

Make sure to mark down that code number inside the cabinet. Make sure too to give some karma to Erbs for his help.
That lock bar should work just fine. Stop for 10 minutes and install it.

yah, I know. Always putting something else ahead of doing it. Also after our visit at your place made me look at the cabinet which is a little out of square and the door hangs up when being closed, requiring lifting up on it. So it probably will take longer than 10 minutes, since I want to square that cabinet back up first. May require installing some steel angle iron on the inside. So see I'm at least thinking about doing it, so haven't forgot.

Yes, Erbs hit is right on with the 4648 user ID code. Thank you so much, I owe you one.

Glad it worked for you. Did for me years ago when I had those poker machines. Can't remember when or where in the menu it may ask for both of those numbers.

Yes will hang on to both numbers for potential future use. Especially the 4648 for the Royal Flush, hope to have more. Never happens for real at a casino. Thanks again.
