Look on the backplane.
The word "PRINTER" is etched on the circuit board right next to the 10-pin (J14) header socket...the 2nd one up from the bottom on the right.
All this stuff is available in the NLG File System, and you would have access to it, if you were a Contributing Member.
Double-click on drawing below to enlarge if needed...>>>
My backplane board does not have words on it either. 3902 13" GameKing cabinet. There is an 8-pin port labeled J12. Is this Netplex? I could not find my particular machine in the NLG File System (I am a contributing member.)

I know nothing about this machine...lol
I erased my mistaken Replies so no one gets misled.

No. J2 on the top of the motherboard is the Netplex connector.

Looks like I'll have to disconnect and remove the I/O tray (is that the right word for the tray above the MPU tray?) in order to access J2. Seems scary but I'm guessing it's no big deal?

It's no big deal. Just make sure the power is off whenever connecting/disconnecting anything. The plugs in the front will only go back on one way, so no worries.

Okay so I got to J2 and it's a 10-pin molex. The FutureLogic Gen2 printer I bought has a cable with an 8-pin molex connector. I was following this thread from the old site.

Where you can clearly see the printer has an 8pin connection, and the distribution board is all 10pin. He mentions a female-to-female cable, but how does the number of pins change?

One side, 10. The other end of the cable has a eight Molex and then two wires branch off in the two that I think the power to the Bill insert bezell
