S2000 TITO will Not Read Ticket

I have a Triple Diamond S2000 with a TITO@Home that will not read tickets. All thought I didn’t need to I did a clear chip to make sure all my settings were correct and to have a good baseline followed by a rekey. All my settings are 100% on except for 3.4.1.1.4 SAS Primary Hand Pay. I’m unable to change it to “Hand Pay Reporting Disabled”. My only options are - Hand Pay Multiple Reports or - Hand Pay Single Report. My assumption is that this is why the machine will not read my tickets. I have two other machines and both TITO’s work fine. I don’t know if it’s the TITO it’s self and really don’t want to take the TITO@Home from the other machines for troubleshooting purposes and risk their operation. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve had a couple of machines that would not allow a change to “no handpay reporting” & machines still worked with Tito.

You may want to clear and double check settings, or swap the bill head and/or transport with a known working machine.  On one occasion, I’ve had a transport not take the Tito tickets for some reason.

We have to configure communications and validation settings this is how my S2000 is set up.

These are under the key chip menu

Validation settings:

      Handpay validation Don't validate handpay/receipt

Printer settings:

   7.2.2.1 Enable / Disable set to enable (if you don't TITO wont be Ticket Out)

Voucher settings:
7.2.3 Voucher
   7.2.3.1 Voucher Redemption
      voucher redemption SAS

You have to exit the key config menu completely before accessing the rest of the options

My Bill head and transport model# WBA-13-SS. I have two other machines and although I don’t normally like using parts from a good machine for fear of damaging a good thing, I will. I assume that the other machines Bill head and transport should be interchangeable?

Does the service button give you credits?  If it does the settings are correct and your BV head needs cleaning and calibrated.

I just hit the service button and the machine VFD says “System Bonus Won $2,500.00 but nothing actually goes to the credit window. The lights and bells go off as well.

It should have given credits. What is the credit limit set to?

This is most likely because the machine is going to hand pay when you press the button to add the $2500.  Change the jackpot limit to above $2500 and try to add credits again.

Yes the credit limits are probably also causing the BV to reject the Tito tickets.

3.1.4 Credit limits was set to $1000.00. I changed that to $3000.00 and hit the service again with the same results it comes up with System Bonus won $2,500 and Hand Payout Amount $2500. My 7.2.4.1 Handpay is Remote Handpay: Disabled and my 3.1.6 Handpay Display is Enabled.

I also just changed the Jackpot limit to $3000 and now when you hit the Service button it hits the jackpot and spits out a ticket for the $2500.

Raise the credit limit, no key required.  (no credits on machine) 

This machine also has a hopper??

Get rid of the split pay settings.  Change hopper limit to 0.

Also, if you set accounting denom to .01 you will get $100 in credits for service button instead of $2500.

($2500 is 10,000 credits @ .25 player denom)

Okay I think we’ve got the ticket resolved……  I raised the credit limit to $5000, Jackpot Limit to 5k, Hopper Limit - 000 and changed the accounting Denomination to .01. I had to do and Clear/Key in order to change the Accounting Denomination to .001 which at this point is getting quick and easy! On to my last problem which is a Printer Error after ever ticket that prints. I will mark this one as resolved and start a new topic for help with that one!

What error do you get after it prints a ticket?  No need to start over with another thread. Make sure the printer is pushed in all the way on it's slide mount.
