Aruze Genex CPU Troubleshooting Tip

Hi folks!  Just wanted to try and drop some information here that we have found to be very useful when trying to troubleshoot an Aruze Genex AP7 cpu that does not seem to be booting and is giving no display on the screen.  Many times this situation requires you to really closely follow the steps in the attached document about FF trouble code on cpu post led display.  We have even found that this procedure clears some other errors even if you don’t necessarily have FF on your post code led display.  I have also attached a pic of where to find the post code led display as it seems some folks might not even know where it is located.  Oh and usually the led display is a bit hard to see unless you pull the cpu out a little bit.

Hi Wally,
I just want to know,when performing CMOS clear do I need to plug in the power cord just like when your clearing the memory of SPC 2.5 in Aristocrat. Thank you

I do not believe so.  When you are doing the cmos clear the cpu is out of the machine.  What machine are you working on and what sort of problems are you trying to overcome?  Let me know I’m sure there are a few of us that can help!😎

We have a variety of games like Giant Panda, Stacking Wolf, Ultra Stack Gorilla jackpot etc.
