I have a Sigma SG150-B Treasure Wheel machine that is stuck and is displaying “Game Loading Please Wait”.
The power supply had some hot spots on the Molex connector at the 12 volt pins, but the power supply checked good.  Tarnished pins replaced on power supply and new pins on the hot 12 volt wires.  Battery replaced.  When I do a Ram Clear I don’t get the clearing messages, only the Game Loading Please Wait message.  I have done the Ram Clear procedure quite a few times with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

the little eprom above the game chip I can not read very well...if it is a GAL2 chip you won't be able to do a ram clear...Also could have a bad MPU board or game chip...What procedure are you using to ram clear?

I have the GAL chip, not the 02.  I powered the machine off, pressed and held down red reset button, turned key switch on side and held it and powered up the machine while I continued to hold the button and key switch.  I do not get the ram clearing message.   I have in the past but not now. I have not done it yet but am thinking the next step would be trying to ground out the legs on the RAM chips.

Didn’t mean to scream.  I cut and pasted the last part of the message when I edited it!

do you ever get the message “ALL DATA W/O SETTING WILL BE CLEARED”?

this is the procedure I have used...

Resetting and clearing ram on a Sigma

Hold in the test button next to the power switch, then turn and hold the reset key, then turn on the power switch at the same time. Continue holding the test button and the reset switch until the reels turn and the door says ram cleared (about 15 seconds). The door should read turn reset key twice. This will hard clear the machine

Must have GAL01 or GAL03 denomination chips  (Not GAL02)

You may have bad system eproms or bad MPU board...

I don’t get that message. If goes straight to Game Loading Please Wait. It sounds like Su am using the same clear procedure that you are.

I guess my next step would be to run a WTB for a set of game chips or MPU.   Might be a long shot as the game is getting a little age to it.

check the size of your eproms and the jumper settings and make sure the jumpers are set for the correct eprom sizes

The game was working fine before the error popped up so the chips and settings should be good. No one has tampered with them.
