Super late reply here...
This seems similar to my Mills M head that was basically mechanical but had a coin acceptor and a hopper.
I'm not sure what these would have been categorized as, since the smaller payouts were from the coin tube and the larger from the hopper.
I'd call it a hybrid of sorts!
