Title: imonex coin acceptor

i have a 1998 igt double 5x's pay with an .25 imonex acceptor in it ..i did some research and found out a few things, but nothing for a slot machine..Do you put a quarter somewhere in the acceptor..thanks here is the machine it is in..i got it for 60.00 ..i am replacing the missing parts and putting a bill validator in it .. any help will be great

if machine has an imonex coin acceptor that was working - you will need to replace the coin optic board located just below the imonex - there is a diode Q4 or Q2 depending on the board - that was cut to allow the imonex to work.

Ok thanks..I will see how well it works first ,or just replace the whole piece later

If the Imonex is working, then you don't have to do anything, they do not require a sample coin like the CC-16.  keep in mind that when you order parts for that machine, you have an S+ type machine, not a S-2000
