I have 2 different kortek lcd monitors with the same issue going on. One is in a 19" panda cab and the other is a 17" in a gk slant. Both have vertical
bars" for lack of a better description. Wondering if this would be the ADS board, the power supply, or the lcd panels themselves?

Looks like horizontal lines? Mark, rotate the picture so the poster is correct.
-
Did you try to auto adjust with the monitor buttons?
-
I did try the auto config and the type is set to igt 039 on both which is correct
-
Is the LCD displaying vertical lines while in game mode?

Yes post a pic of game mode. I think you might just need to adjust the width a tad.

I only have one of the monitors in a working cabinet right now. Here is a pic of that one, same monitor the above image came from. The banding is still there, but you have to look hard to make it out during game play. You can see it faintly in the light blue line above "game pays 50".

I was wanting to see the whole screen with the door open. Did you try adjusting the horizontal size?
-
I will have to take some more pics tomorrow when I am by the machine. I believe the horizontal is adjusted to full screen area available, but I will double check that as well.

I found the solution, and it turned out it was stupidly simple. I had gone into the menu and tried changing every setting I could think might possibly be related with no fix. next I changed the actual lcd panel, no dice. Turns out all I had to do was push the one button I didn't even notice. The "scale" which is off to the side away from all the menu buttons. 1 push and all better, no more vertical lines. From what I can tell it stretched the image out to the proper proportions. Previously with the scale compressed it was like an accordion, hence the darker lines.

haha...This topic could of been solved 3 weeks ago if you had posted a full sized photo like sixcardmark asked... :fryingpan: :Tongue_Out:

That is the auto adjust (auto scale) button I was talking about in reply #3. Glad that's all it was. :agreepost:

Yeah, that is my bad. For some reason i was thinking you meant the factory reset function in the menu system. I honestly didn't even see thst button was there until i looked at these machines today. I got side tracked on some other projects and these 2 took a back burner for a bit. Thank you all for the help!
