Im posting this here as I hope someone will have an answer to at least one of the questions,
My power supply decided to pick up smoking. Now my electrical skills aren’t the best but I figured something in there should be pretty obvious. I found a schematic online and found the part that was blown. The power supply is a Aristocrat MkV/2. The part is a 9R1 7W 5% Cement Resistor however I cannot find an exact replacement. This is the closet I can find

Can someone with a better knowledge of electronics tell me if that will be suitable even with a higher Ohm reading.
Or is there a replacement for the entire power supply as I can’t seem to find them at any of the supporting vendors or elsewhere.
