Group:
The Fortune 1 black jack machine I bought is like an ATM. 8 out of 10 hands win. Takes the fun out of it unless you are at a real casino.
Is there a chip or an adjustment that can be made to tighten this machine up? Please advise....

I don't remember where I got this or if it's really for a Fortune 1, but if yours has dip switches it might be worth playing with.

Thanks so much for the reply. I was looking for this chart. I think that you are right and it is for the fortune 1. It does not seem to change the difficulty of the play but its a start. The struggle continues...

I thought maybe changing the paytable would change how often you win.

I phoned a friend who suggested that I may have a tournament game chip in the motherboard. There was some other free paying chip mentioned. I should have written it down. That does sound like a possible source of my problem. I am in search of 21 black Jack game chips now.

My working 1981 Fortune One poker has NO dip switches whatever! Hmmm... :Scratch-Head:
What location is your dip switch?
The MPU has a 1 - 16, A - I row indexing... sort of like Bingo. Let me know.

In this forum it's no secret that I basically don't have a clue what I am talking about. I heard mention of dip switches and was not sure what I had going on inside my "21" game. Now the prevailing wisdom says that I probably have tournament chips in my game or I should start buying lottery tickets. I am going to attempt to attach a phone of my board.
Great to hear from you in this NEW forum.
