hi all. I have just acquired 2x mk7 machines and both of them get to the last boot screen before the game displays where it says ‘found 2 video chips, loading resources’ then they reboot. I have installed the boards into my mk6 chassis and both games load but there is no functionality due to different I/o connections etc.
I read somewhere it could be the power supply, I didn’t have a spare so I installed my mk6 one into the cabinet, they have same plugs but just different colour casing. It still boot loops.
I have tried different driver boards, coin mechs, hoppers to no avail.
It’s weird that both the machines do the same thing but the boards boot fine in the mk6 chassis. These boards are definitely mk7 boards as they have dual video for the dual lcd and twice as many rom chips.
My machine is the same as pictured, could not upload my pic as was too large
Please help
