Title: S5500 code 20 will not clear

I can't clear the code 20 even after I have done the safe ram clear.

Do you have coin optics in this machine? Are you using the coin handling to play the game with coins?

Yes. I have the cod board and the comparator. I am using quarters

Have you cleaned the emitters and receivers on the optic board and the Prism?

Yes I have. I sent the board to Alan at k lar. He tested it and verified it. The game initially had a code 81 that I was unable to clear so I also sent him the mpu and he upgraded the board. It has not been accepting coins.

please check before with other members of group before tying i remember on mine you could unplug both optics and insert a paper clip to jump across the two wares in the harness worked on mine but again please check with others first and make sure papper clips dont touch anything else

No I don't have another set of optics to try. I remember in the past that I could press the small button on the cod board and it would register a few credits and now it doesn't work.

Most likely your optics board has failed.
