Is the machine freezing during the line step up  process or is it during the payout process ?

Line set up froze, and it will not do anything.

Most likely you have manually depressed the coin switch?
Possibly a contact in the coin in circuit needs attention.

The machine can be cleared by pulling a mechanical stop forward.
It’s located under the handle release latch lever.

The stop is protruding out of the top of the handle ratchet box near the front.
Pull it forward, then pull the handle.
This will reset the machine when the reels stop.

Check to see if you have a good connection between the top unit and the cabinet. some wd 40 or some contact spray in the female plug or plugs could help. move the unit in and out a few times to get a good seating of the pins. Also check the end of stroke switch on the line step up coil. those points must open or else unit will freeze and burn out the coil. Good luck, the wizard.

I looked at the upper unit, and I found out this was stuck, once I released it its working fine, the coils are both working, I have sat down and watched them operating..  :Scratch-Head:

I need to figure out what happened.  :Scratch-Head:

Looks like your wires had gotten caught on the gear.

Looks like your wires had gotten caught on the gear.

I'll take another look at the wiring and keep it away from the moving parts. Thanks  :thank_you:
