It is an S9000 Elite stepper.  You have to open the lower door and turn on the MPU.  There's a little black switch next to a little white button.  The switch moves left to right, just flip it and if the mpu is good, you should see some text on the screen and the machine will boot in about 10 to 15 minutes as it goes through all it's startup routines.

That is the mpu you are touching.  When you flip the switch, does it make any noise like the fan in the power supply inside the mpu spins, or some leds light up on the mpu?  Also this machine has 2 power switches on the left hand side, one is the cabinet power and the other one is the cpu power.  Make sure both are on.  If the mpu seems to not be getting any power, you might want to check the fuses on the left hand side of the cabinet where the power switches are.  You can also pull the mpu out (after you unplug everything) and test the mpu outside the cabinet with a standard vga monitor and a pc plug, to see if it powers up and you get a bios message screen.

I didn't see the fan spin on the mpu there is one in the rear there is no lights on it either .i took a pic of the on and off switch's the top light is not lit.also no fans are spinning on the 24-volt power supply in the bottom of the machine.the 5 volt power supply fan isnt  spining but the 12 volt fan is .i guess tomorrow i pull the mpu and do the bench test your talking about thanks again.
