Machine ID
« on: December 18, 2022, 11:46:08 AM »
Picked this up yesterday. It has a 917-1 tag with a May of 73 build. That said it’s the late model style machine. I’m guessing it was wired in parallel with other machines due to the high progressive jackpot. The cut wheels on the reels are numbered sp1 thru sp5. Any idea on this one?

Looks like it could be an offshoot of the bally continental series. Does it pay in both directions ?

it's not a 917, but it may have been built using 917 parts into a later cabinet style.  The linked progressive machines appeared around 1980, so I'd guess the casino had the machine made in the aftermarket from old EM games pulled off the floor sometime after 1980.

the old reno casino closed their doors around 2002.
