MK7 changing settings ?
« on: March 14, 2023, 02:17:31 PM »
I bought an MK7 19". If I want to change the payout % do I have to clear the game first and start over? New to these, thanks.

You will have to setchip the machine.
The variation setting is used for changing the percentage on most games.
Some games (lightning Link) you will leave the variation at 99 and set the percentage when you set up the machine options.

I'm not sure of the procedure to do this. Is there anything outlined to do this on this site? I did run across instructions for an MK6, I have an MK7. What about par sheets? I did put the set chip in and the menu came up, that's as far as I went in fear of screwing something up. Thanks.

In that particular machine, the variation will determine the payback. I don't recall what the variations are all set as but that is what you need to do.
If this is for home use you can set it to whatever you want. If for casino, it has to depend on your jurisdiction.
You can check the Aristocrat web site if you have access or if for home check this:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KNtimKQyA7FDDRkj6PQusfTq7mdyJUDS
This will give you access to all sorts of fun information.
Good luck !

Thanks, my machine is on Oregon jurisdiction. Is that ok?  Aristocrat is a new animal for me.

Again, if for home use it really doesn't matter what jurisdiction.
If for casino use, it makes a big difference....check your par sheet.

Does each game have a par sheet? Do you think Aristocrat would respond to me if I asked them? Thanks.

I'm getting a memory error. Could it be the game type I entered? I entered multi-line. See the photo above Sun&Moon Legacy. Or don't I have the right set chip? Thanks.

If you are getting a memory error its because one of your settings isnt correct

Sun and Moon should be multiline 25 lines, bets per line 20

Success, a lot of trial and error. Entered multi-line , mine is 20L , 10 bet per line. Got it set to 25 cents and highest payout. Learning guys. Thanks, KAD
