The wingboard plugs into the RAM and DATA slots on the board. What chip goes into PROGRAM slot? Does that chip determine what games can be used with the wingboard? What limitations are there on games that go on the wingboard? I understand that they'd need to use a common CAP PROM for the colors to be accurate. Jim at Blueridge mentioned that he was aware of someone who had blackjack and poker on the same machine. Are there games that will or won't work with the wingboard. ie. can I have Bonus Poker, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Shockwave Poker, and Blackjack on the same wingboard (and player selectable)? Thanks in advance. (Wingboard picture, attached below, from Stolistic's site.) Originally posted by jay on 12/29/2008: For the program slot I use XMP000017 with Capprom X2298, and the other graphics chips all have 2298. The Blackjack game I have is non superboard. Program BE0014, uses Caprom 707, and CG2036 I have not found it to be compataible with the above chips for the wing board. Perhaps there are other chips other than XMP000017 ..... for the wingboard multigame that I am not aware of. Originally posted by 2Nutz on 12/29/2008: There is one other minor factor which I have not seen mentioned before. On the far right of the above picture in the lower right hand corner of the daughter board is another socket that plugs into the Superboard. It appears all Superboards do not have the corresponding socket installed on the board. Some of the boards have the masking there and a place for the socket but no socket. Just something I ran into recently. Would love to see a Blackjack game operational with the poker games on one of these daughter boards Just for what it's worth, also using a XMP00017 but with CG2426 graphics. Just to add more info to the listed games.txt file, also using a XMP000017 & X2298 cap but with CG2426 character gen chips and games X000002P X000158P X000516P X002029P X002275P |

Originally posted by Stolistic on 1/17/2009: According to the pictures of the arrows (and progressive text) found in the graphics chips CG2298. Below is a list of supported games for the wingboard: Bonus Poker Double Deuces Nevada Draw Poker White Hot Aces Bonus Poker Deluxe Double Double Aces & Faces Odds & Ends Poker Two Pair Crazy Eights Double Double Bonus Poker Full House Bonus Nevada Bonus Poker Deluxe Deuces Wild Double Joker Poker Royal Deuces Poker Double Bonus Poker Deuces Joker Wild Poker Jacks or Better Sevens or Better Loose Deuces Deuces Bonus Joker Poker Tens or Better Triple Bonus Poker Deuces Wild Poker So that is what this CG chip is capable of displaying. It is possible that other CG chips will expose other games not listed above, but this is the only one I have looked at. |
