I have a Universal video poker game that works fine but, the rubber roller in the hopper is starting to disintegrate (getting sticky). I am looking to replace it but, I know that Universal parts can be hard to find.
Is this part something that can still be found or, do I need to look at having one made?

I don't even recognize that part! Looks like a very early high speed hopper.
Definitely would fabricate a new part.

Uniman,
Funny you replied today. The roller gave up today. She's sticking to the coins causing jams now.
You are correct that it's a high speed hopper. Shoots coins out like a Gatling Gun.
I had a feeling that I was going to have to fabricate one. But, I'm going to look at a couple of coin counter parts first since they are a bit of the same design.

Well, I'll follow up on this. I decided to go ahead and make one. Purchased some Buna-N material (2"x30") for $8.78. Used a hole saw to get a slightly oversized disc then I put in on my mini lathe, turned it down and cleaned it up. 30 min. later I had a roller that actually seems to work! :cool_thumb_up: No more sticky black quarters!
Luckily, some of the old rubber left on the shaft made for great adhesive when I put the new one on....
